S p i n a l F u s i o n Spinal fusion describes the joining of one or multiple vertebral bodies by using connecting implants such as rods, screws, or plates in combination with bone generating material. The objective is to immobilize the spinal segments and achieve pain relief this way. The procedure is considered effective and yields good results.
